Marguette E. Harrington

Marquette Wear Harrington, 88 of LaBelle Manor Care Center in LaBelle, Missouri was taken by the Lord on February 23, 2013. Marquette was born on October 30, 1924 to Clarence and Anna Wilcox Gooding.

She enjoyed spending time with family and friends and loved to play bingo and listen to country music. She also enjoyed the many activities at LaBelle Manor. She lived in Springfield, Illinois for many years. Then later in life she moved to LaBelle Manor where she spent her final days.

She was preceded in death by her parents, two sons, Paul & Norman Wear, one grandson, Paul Wear II, two brothers, Martin & Herschel Gooding, and two husbands, Floyd Wear whom she married August 6, 1942. After his passing several years she then married Earl Harrington on December 24, 1989.

She is survived by two daughters, Judy Littleton & fiancé Don Miller of Gorin, Missouri and Patty Rice & husband Bobby of Springfield, Missouri; two sons, Mike Wear of LaBelle, Missouri and Jerry Wear & wife Sherry of Camp Point, Illinois; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren; sister, Marlene Carrier & husband Walt of Gorin, Missouri; brother, Kenneth Gooding & wife Barbara of Camp Point, Illinois and several nieces & nephews.

Cremation rites have been accorded. Memorial services and inurnment will be in the New Loraine Cemetery, Loraine, Illinois Sunday, May 26, 2013 at 10 AM.

Memorials may be made to the New Loraine Cemetery which may be mailed to or left at Arnold's Funeral Home in Lewistown.

She was a loving & caring mother and grandmother who will be deeply missed by everyone.
